FEAR doubt Worry disTRUST

Label it what you must, but it often gets the best of us. Why do we find it so difficult to trust in a God that is so BIG? He is so much bigger then you, then I, then terminal illness, then death and harsh words. Bigger then Earthquakes, Tsunamis and Fires. He is larger then life, because He created Life! He is the creator of all things good and He defeats evil. In fact, He CRUSHES evil with His heel. He is in total control and He knows what will happen long before we do. He knows our very SOUL. He knows what makes us tick, what makes us mad and what we are passionate about. He wants us to turn to Him in our deepest sorrow, times of confusion, of pure joy when we praise His name, and yeah - even when we think of Him the least - when times are just AVERAGE.

After reading this story I feel like I need to spiritually "clean house". Dig deeper, ask more meaningful questions and have conversations that are more authentic. TRUST GOD MORE. Life happens, unexpected events take place, we are challenged, we are displaced, we learn and we grow. God will never give us anything we can't handle.

Philippians 4: 6-7 "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understaning, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
