Recovered Bench

In May I was at our local

Salvation Army and I seriously scored.

First off, I got this really cool 

old school rocking bassinet

for Claire's dolls. 

I'm not sure what type of wood it is,

but its dark,

beautiful and in really good condition.

I am going to leave it the way it is.

She loves it.

The other item I purchased was a bench.

Nothing too special,

but right away I envisioned it covered with a gorgeous fabric. 

So I purchased it,

went and picked out to the fabric store.

That was the hardest part of the whole thing!

I love how it turned out,

I am really pleased with my first recovering project.

Its not perfect, 

but if I keep the one side faced against a wall

its a complete success!
